Congress MP Chandra Mohan Yadav Criticizes PM's Statement and Speaker's Role in Parliament

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Chandra Mohan Yadav has strongly objected to the Prime Minister's recent statement and the Speaker's role in the House of Representatives. Speaking in a special time during Wednesday's House of Representatives meeting, MP Yadav raised serious questions about the dignity of the parliament and issues of nationality.

Questioning the Speaker's impartiality, he accused the Speaker of not being able to sever ties with his former party. He argued that the Speaker's role, which should be a common guardian of the house, treating all parties and MPs equally, appeared very narrow.
