Kathmandu. Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader Jhalanath Khanal has stated that the main reason for the party's defeat in the last election was the rightist ideology, policy, and program adopted by the leadership. Leader Khanal made such an accusation against the leadership by writing a 36-point disagreement letter to coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda in 24 pages.
"In the historical process of revolution or construction of any country, whether the Communist Party leading that revolution or construction is adopting a correct ideological-political line, that itself determines the victory or defeat of the revolution or construction," Khanal said, questioning Prachanda, "But Comrade Prachanda! Where is your leadership's 'line' trying to take the party? The time has come for everyone to be serious."
