Nepal Police Chief Addresses UN Summit on Global Peace and Security

Kathmandu. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki addressed the Police Chiefs' Conference organized at the United Nations Headquarters. Addressing the conference, which has been ongoing since July 7, IGP Karki stated that international police cooperation is indispensable for strengthening global peace, security, and the rule of law.

The Fifth United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit is being held at the UN Headquarters in the United States. IGP Karki stated that with the changing global security environment, challenges arising from cybercrime, human trafficking, transnational organized crime, terrorism, economic crime, and the misuse of digital technology cannot be resolved by the efforts of any single nation alone.
