Pesticide Testing Increased as Vegetable Sales Decline

Chitwan. Pesticide testing has been increased as the amount of pesticide in vegetables brought to market by farmers has started to increase. Along with this, it has been observed that farmers have reduced the practice of selling vegetables immediately after using pesticides.

The rate of vegetable testing on an annual basis at the Pesticide Residue Rapid Testing Laboratory located here has been increasing. Testing has been intensified with the increase in pesticide use in vegetables.
