Congress Objects to PMO Detaining Anti-Corruption Officials

Kathmandu. The main opposition party Nepali Congress has objected, stating that the Prime Minister's Office has taken control of and pressured the chief and officials of the constitutional body, the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority.

In the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday, Congress MP Narendra Kumar Kerung, quoting a matter made public through journalist Sitaram Baral's 'Facebook Live', made such a serious allegation.
