Federation of Commerce and Industry Expresses Strong Objection to Minister's Statement on LP Gas Supply

Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepal Industries and Commerce has expressed serious objection to the statement made by Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav regarding the LP gas supply system towards industrialists-businessmen.

Minister Yadav had stated in the Industry Committee meeting on Wednesday that consumers were not getting gas due to industrialists and businessmen, and that they should be 'tightened'. The Federation, drawing attention to Minister Yadav's statement, stated that it is extremely objectionable, irresponsible, and unfortunate to blame all industrialists-businessmen at a sensitive time when problems should be resolved and smooth and regular supply ensured to consumers, and to make statements like 'gas will not be smooth until the industrialists' 'tightening' is done'.
