MP Radhika Ramtel Criticizes Government Silence on National Sovereignty Issue

Kathmandu. Labor Culture Party MP Radhika Ramtel has objected to the government remaining silent on a sensitive issue like nationality. In Friday's House of Representatives meeting, she said it is the constitutional responsibility of the government for Prime Minister Balen Shah to answer the questions raised in the parliament.

MP Ramtel demanded an answer, stating that it has been 38 days since the Prime Minister made an expression in the parliament that Nepal has also encroached on India's land, but neither clarity has come nor has the parliament received a satisfactory answer. She demanded that the government present its official stance in the parliament. She demanded that such an expression, which harms national self-respect, be removed from the parliamentary record.
