Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Expected

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology stated. The monsoon low-pressure line is currently around its average position.

Due to this influence, there is generally cloudy weather across the country. Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is occurring in some places in Karnali Province, and in a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Lumbini provinces, as well as in one or two places in Madhesh, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
