London. The world-famous 'Revenge Dress' worn by the late British Princess Diana is to be auctioned for the first time in nearly three decades. The attractive black gown will be auctioned in New York on December 9, and its price is estimated to reach up to 300,000 US dollars.

Designed by Greek designer Christina Stambolian, this body-hugging, off-the-shoulder silk dress was worn by Diana on June 29, 1994, at an event at the Serpentine Gallery in London.
