U.S. sends FBI forensic specialists to aid Nepal flood victim identification

Kathmandu, Sept 11: At the request of the Government of Nepal, forensic specialists from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are working alongside Nepal Police to support disaster victim identification following the devastating floods.

The FBI is providing specialized humanitarian forensic expertise to assist authorities in accurately identifying victims and helping provide answers to the families of American citizens and all those affected by the tragedy, in coordination with the Government of Nepal.
