Health Minister Nisha Mehta Addresses Rajbiraj Hospital Delivery Incident

Kathmandu. Minister of Health and Population Nisha Mehta has taken the delivery incident at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj seriously and stated that an investigation is underway against those responsible. Minister Mehta informed the House about the steps taken by the ministry regarding the incident during a meeting of the House of Representatives.

On August 25, MPs raised questions in the House of Representatives meeting about the incident where a mother gave birth outside the hospital premises in Rajbiraj. In response to the incident, the Ministry of Health had sought a 24-hour clarification from the hospital.
