Nepal Bar Association President Criticizes Human Rights Commission's Recommendation as Unconstitutional

Kathmandu. Nepal Bar Association President Dr. Vijayprasad Mishra has commented that the National Human Rights Commission's recommendation regarding the Janajati movement is unconstitutional.

Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Friday, he clarified that the commission's recommendation to take action against former Prime Minister KP Oli and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, among others, by creating retroactive laws is itself not in accordance with the constitution and law, and therefore cannot be accepted.
