Prime Minister Balen Shah to Address UN General Assembly on October 8

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah will address the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations on October 8. The 'High-Level General Debate' of the General Assembly will be held from October 6 to 12 in New York, USA. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to address the General Assembly on October 8.

The theme of this year's General Assembly is 'Restoring Trust, Rebuilding Alliances: Managing Transformation for Sustainable Development'. According to information received from the United Nations, so far, heads of state from 81 countries and heads of government from 50 countries, including Nepal, will participate in the General Assembly.
