DDC Pays Rs 12 Crore to Milk Farmers

Kathmandu. Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has paid Rs 12 crore to milk farmers who did not receive payment. DDC has stated that out of the approximately Rs 58 crore for the last four months, the outstanding liability of Rs 12 crore has been paid.

After the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Environment, Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) brought a reform action plan, currently Rs 1 crore is being paid daily to the farmers, the ministry has stated.
