‘MOFA Mitra’ mobile app launched for online consular service

Kathmandu, May 26: Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal has urged Nepalis abroad to avail consular services through the ‘MOFA Mitra’ mobile app. Launching the mobile app developed by the Department of Consular Services here today, he expressed confidence that it would make public services more convenient and citizen-friendly.

The application enables Nepali citizens abroad and their families to register their consular-related concerns and grievances online, receive timely updates on their requests, track the status of their requests and communicate directly with the Nepali Missions concerned for the effective resolution of their issues. The app is now available on both platforms: Android and iOS, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
