Giant Bell Becomes Attraction at Dhankuta's Nishan Mandir

Dhankuta. A giant bell located in the premises of Nishan Mandir in Dhankuta has become a center of attraction for religious tourists and visitors. Not only those who visit Nishan Mandir, but most tourists coming to Dhankuta return after taking pictures with the bell.

This 'Mahaghanti' (Great Bell), made by joining small bells, contains more than 500 bells. Its weight is more than 150 kg, informed Janardan Ghimire, secretary of the Nishan Mandir Management Committee.
