Lions Foundation awards $200,000 for flood relief in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded a US$200,000 Major Catastrophe Grant to support Lions-led emergency relief and recovery efforts in Nepal following devastating flash floods that have killed more than 1,000 people and left thousands missing, according to a press release.
