FAO Preliminary Report on Bhote Koshi Flood

Kathmandu. The devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi on August 10 has caused severe damage in densely populated areas of Nepal including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading.

According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), this sudden flood has damaged about 1,800 hectares of arable land, especially paddy crops, and thousands of livestock have died.
