Army Chief Sigdel set to visit Beijing on week-long China trip

Kathmandu, Sept 12: Chief of the Nepali Army, General Ashok Raj Sigdel, is preparing to visit China on a week-long official trip at a time when the Nepali Army is leading rescue coordination efforts following the massive Bhotekoshi flood of August 26.

According to sources in the Nepali Army, Sigdel is scheduled to visit China from September 13 to 28 ( Bhadra 28 to Ashoj 3) . This will reportedly be his first visit to China since assuming the post of Army Chief.
