India-China Relations Show Signs of Thawing Ahead of BRICS Summit

New Delhi. Relations between India and China had become extremely tense after the deadly border clash in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh in 2020. However, in the last two years, it seems that this tense 'tango dance' between the 'Dragon and the Elephant' is gradually subsiding.

That is, India-China relations are slowly returning to normal. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping are scheduled to meet on Saturday on the sidelines of the ongoing BRICS summit in New Delhi. This is Xi's first visit to India in seven years.
