Nepali Army Prioritizes Rescue of Those Trapped in Bhote Koshi Flood-Affected Hydropower Projects

Kathmandu. The Nepali Army has prioritized the rescue of those trapped in the tunnels and powerhouses of various hydropower projects affected by the Bhote Koshi flood and is conducting searches.

Military spokesperson and Major General Rajaram Basnet informed that a search is underway for the missing after constructing an access road of more than approximately one kilometer from Syabrubesi in Rasuwa to the tunnel of the Chilime Hydropower Project.
