Toyota Exports to West Asia Plummet 91.7% in April Amid Regional Conflict

Tokiyo. Toyota's exports from Japan to West Asia decreased by 91.7 percent in April. The company announced on Thursday that exports were limited to only two thousand 418 units due to the impact on trade from the ongoing regional conflict.

According to the company, Toyota's global sales in April decreased by 3.1 percent to 849,306 vehicles. With this, sales have continued to decline for the third consecutive month. However, global production increased by 2 percent to 831,971 units, which is a record high production for the month of April.
