Army Blasts to Open Damaged Prithvi Highway Section

Dhading. The Nepali Army has advanced the work of opening the road by blasting at the Prithvi Highway road section in Dhading's Shital Bazaar, which was damaged by the Trishuli River cutting the road due to floods in Rasuwa.

As it was not possible to immediately restore the road by constructing a wall at the place where the road collapsed, the blasting work has been advanced by deploying an engineering team of the Kaliprasad Battalion under the Middle Division of the Nepali Army. The project stated that the technical team of the army is working with the objective of bringing traffic back into operation by removing the damaged part of the road and constructing a new track.
