‘Seto Dharti’ comes to Pokhara stage

By Phadindra Adhikari, Lekhnath, Sept. 13: The trend of adapting popular Nepali literary works, including fiction and poetry, for the stage is gaining momentum. Works such as Laxmi Prasad Devkota’s Muna Madan, Guru Prasad Mainali’s Kartabya and Hridaya Chandra Singh Pradhan’s Ek Chihan have previously enjoyed popularity in the theatre. Following adaptations of Nayan Raj Pandey’s Lu and Parijat’s Shirishko Phool, novelist Amar Neupane’s Seto Dharti has now been brought to the stage.
