Nearly 200,000 Devotees Visited Swayambhu During Month-Long Festival

Kathmandu. Approximately two hundred thousand devotees have visited Swayambhu, listed as a World Heritage site, during the month-long festival organized by the Swayambhu Management and Conservation Mahasamiti.

Followers of Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana traditions from national and international levels participated in the festival during the month-long Gunla festival celebrated at Swayambhu. The festival, which began on August 14, was formally concluded on Saturday night.
