CPN-UML Leaders Convene for Dispute Resolution and Party Reorganization

Kathmandu. After two reports were prepared regarding the election review and CPN-UML reorganization, leaders have gathered at the Balthali Resort in Panauti, Kavre, to resolve disputes. Separate reports drafted by Vice Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’, who is also the coordinator of the UML task force, and General Secretary and task force member-secretary Shankar Pokharel were presented at a meeting held at the party office in Chyasal. Leaders have now gathered for an residential meeting to finalize the dispute and create a single report.

Although the task force's residential meeting was scheduled to begin on Saturday, it was delayed due to the time taken to finalize the location, and the decisive meeting only started at Balthali from Sunday. The meeting is expected to conclude on Monday, according to task force member Leelanath Shrestha. Earlier, the meeting was planned to be held at a resort in Dhulikhel, Kavre, or at the Sukute Resort in Sindhupalchok, but due to unavailability of space, leaders stated that Panauti had to be chosen.
