Banke Sees Over 2,800 New Jobs Created from New Domestic Industries and Commercial Firms

Over two thousand 800 new jobs have been created from new domestic industries and commercial firms registered in Banke in the last fiscal year. 2,861 people got new employment from 627 industries and 626 commercial firms registered under industry and commerce administration in the fiscal year 2082/83 at the District Domestic and Small Industry Office, according to Mohan Ghartimagar, acting chief industry officer of the Domestic and Small Industry Office, Banke. According to him, employment has been created for 1,688 men and 1,173 women. 673 new entrepreneurs, including 436 men and 237 women, have been produced during this period. With the registration of 627 new industries in the last fiscal year, the total number of industries in Banke has reached 15,807. 1,101 industries have been renewed during this period, while 265 industries have been canceled, informed officer Ghartimagar. In the fiscal year 2081/82, there were 657 registrations, 1,042 renewals, and 309 cancellations. With the registration of 626 new firms in commerce, the total number of registered firms has reached 21,980. 1,688 firms have been renewed and 356 firms have been canceled, said acting chief industry officer Ghartimagar. In the fiscal year 2081/82, there were 712 registrations, 1,661 renewals, and 527 cancellations. He informed that the office conducted market monitoring seven times and industry inspection 11 times throughout the year to maintain business regulation and quality. According to Magar, out of the total budget allocated to the office for the fiscal year 2082/83, which was Rs 3 crore 3 lakh 92 thousand, the total expenditure was Rs 2 crore 25 lakh 12 thousand 950. Overall, the total financial progress of this office has achieved 74.08 percent. Industry officer Ghartimagar informed that the total revenue collection in the last fiscal year was Rs 1 crore 63 lakh 7 thousand 795. In the previous fiscal year, revenue collection was Rs 1 crore 97 lakh 31 thousand 785. According to acting chief industry officer Ghartimagar, the main reasons for the decrease in revenue collection include a slight slowdown in new registrations of industries and commerce, the start of registration at the local level, concessions provided by the provincial government, and an increase in cancellations.
