Lauda Air Case: Supreme Court Hearing Stalled for 9 Years

Kathmandu. Nine years have passed since the hearing of the Lauda Air aircraft rental case irregularities was scheduled in the full bench of the Supreme Court, but the hearing has been stalled. This case was sent to the full bench on April 6, 2074 (Bikram Sambat) after the opinions of two Supreme Court justices diverged.

In the 9 years since, seven leaderships have changed at the Supreme Court, from former Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli to the current Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, but the hearing of the Lauda Air corruption case has not taken place.
