Monsoon Wind Active Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Currently, the influence of monsoon winds is prevalent across the country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon trough line has shifted slightly south of the average position.

At present, most parts of the country are generally cloudy. Moderate rainfall is occurring in some places in Koshi and Bagmati provinces. Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms has been recorded in a few places in Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
