Austrian Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Taylor Swift Concert Attack Plot

Vienna. A 21-year-old Austrian man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison on charges of planning an attack on American singer Taylor Swift's concert in Vienna, Austria. Known by the name Beren A, the man was also found guilty of various other terrorism-related offenses, according to Austria's privacy laws.

He was arrested after receiving information from the US intelligence agency CIA before the start of Taylor Swift's three consecutive 'sold-out' concerts at Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium in August 2024.
