Anthropic announced on Thursday that it has raised $65 billion in investment from private investors. After the new investment, the company's valuation has reached $965 billion. This investment round was led by Altimeter Capital, Greenoaks, Dragoneer, and Sequoia Capital. With this, Anthropic has surpassed OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, in terms of market capitalization. In the latest round of fundraising, which ended in March, OpenAI's valuation reached $852 billion.
