Flood in Rasuwa's BhoteKoshi and Trishuli Rivers Impacts National GDP by 6.69%

Kathmandu. The flood in the corridor of Rasuwa's BhoteKoshi and Trishuli rivers on the 10th of Bhadra has impacted the country's GDP by 6.69 percent. The flood in the BhoteKoshi and Trishuli river corridor following a massive rockfall and avalanche in the upper Lhende Khola watershed area of Rasuwa has caused irreparable damage to the country's economy, physical infrastructure, and public life.

The preliminary report of the damage prepared by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority in coordination with the National Planning Commission and concerned ministries shows this.
