Temporary ‘log bridge’ and ‘tuin’ installed over Phalakhu and Bhotekoshi rivers

Rasuwa, Sept 14: A temporary log bridge and a tuin (cable bridge) have been installed over the Phalakhu and Bhotekoshi rivers along the Rasuwa-Nuwakot road section after the concrete bridges over the two rivers were destroyed by the Bhotekoshi floods, disrupting transportation.

Superintendent of Police Tul Bahadur Bhandari of the Armed Police Force said the alternative structures were installed to facilitate the movement of local residents and restore connectivity in the flood-affected areas.
