Advocate Sharma Calls for Study on Nepal's BRICS Non-Participation

Kathmandu. Advocate Rajendra Sharma has stated that a deep study is necessary regarding the real reasons why Nepal was not invited or did not participate in the BRICS summit. He said this while speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday.

He stated that a deep study is necessary on whether Nepal was invited to BRICS and if invited, why Nepal did not participate. He mentioned that comments are being made that Nepal does not need to go to BRICS as it is connected to America's development project MCC and that it is appropriate not to participate as it is a country that adopts a non-aligned foreign policy, and said that the real reason for this should be investigated.
