Drinking water supply projects in Rasuwa suffer damage over Rs 250 Million

Kathmandu, Sept 14: A total of 13 drinking water supply and sanitation projects operating in various parts of Rasuwa have suffered total or partial damage due to the devastating floods on Bhote Koshi River last August 27.

According to the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Management, the flood caused damage worth at least Rs 252.5 million to these 13 projects. A total of 1,623 citizens have been directly affected in terms of access to safe drinking water.
