CPN-UML Taskforce Decides Against Immediate Removal of Chairman KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu. The CPN (UML) election review and party restructuring task force has concluded that it will back away from the issue of immediately removing Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

A task force member informed that although questions were raised about Chairman Oli's working style at the task force meeting held in Balkhali, Kavre on Monday, it was agreed not to advance the agenda of immediate leadership change, as forcibly removing an elected chairman in the current political situation would further escalate internal party disputes and send the wrong message.
