Canada Inflation Stable at 3% in August Amid Trade War Concerns

Kathmandu. Government statistics released on Monday showed that annual inflation in Canada remained stable at three percent in August. The country's economy is preparing for the impact of an escalating trade war with the United States of America.

Prime Minister Mark Carney announced on August 21 that after breaking off trade talks with the United States of America, President Donald Trump announced new tariffs on Canada. Since then, retaliatory responses have been seen from both sides.
