Priority to opening alternative roads to reconnect flood-hit areas

By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Sept. 15: The government has accelerated efforts to bring flood-damaged road networks in the affected areas back into operation by mid-October. The government is giving priority to opening alternative roads and installing temporary ropeways and suspension bridges in the affected areas. Once these immediate measures are completed, it will begin rebuilding permanent roads and bridges.
