Ashok Kumar Rai Registers New Party 'Samajwadi Party'

Kathmandu. Ashok Kumar Rai has applied to the Election Commission to register a new party. The group led by Rai on Monday applied to the Election Commission to register the party 'Samajwadi Party'.

The vice-chairpersons of the party with Ashok Rai as chairman are Sushila Shrestha, Radhadevi Timilsina and Dan Bahadur Bishwakarma. Similarly, Sharan Kumar Rai is the deputy general secretary and the secretaries are Hemantraj Mandavya, Manikkar Karki and Bhim Bahadur Tamang.
