According to the bulletin issued by the Flood Forecasting Department on Tuesday, the water levels of Koshi, Narayani, Bagmati, Karnali, Mahakali and their tributaries, as well as Kankai, Kamala, Babai, Eastern Rapti and Western Rapti rivers were below the alert level at the morning measurement.
According to the department, the water levels in the country's major rivers are estimated to rise for three days from Bhadra 30 to Ashoj 1. In the next three days, the water levels in Koshi, Narayani and Mahakali rivers and their main tributaries are forecast to 'rise significantly'.
