Pokhara's Agricultural Land Shrinks Significantly Due to Land Classification

Pokhara. Agricultural land in Pokhara has decreased by two-thirds. The land classification report published by Pokhara Metropolitan City has revealed that productive farmlands have been transformed into residential areas.

Agricultural land in Pokhara, which was around 40 percent during the first local level elections, has now shrunk to just around 12 percent.
