UN Expresses Grave Concern Over Gaza Ceasefire Fragility and West Bank Violence

Kathmandu. The United Nations has expressed grave concern that the ongoing ceasefire in Gaza is in a fragile state and violence and tension are increasing in the occupied West Bank. The UN has urged for the immediate restoration of essential services and humanitarian aid in Gaza and to ensure the safety of civilians in the West Bank.

Addressing a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, the UN Special Coordinator for the West Asia Peace Process, Ramez Alakbarov, said that the residents of Gaza are enduring an unbearable situation and immense suffering.
