Nepal Rastra Bank Waives Transaction Limits for Flood Relief Fund Donations

Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has made arrangements on Wednesday that the maximum limit (transaction limit) set for digital transactions to the 'Prime Minister's Natural Disaster Relief Fund' and 'Prime Minister's Relief Fund' will not be applicable for the assistance of citizens affected by the severe floods and inundation.

The central bank's Payment Systems Department has made such a decision to facilitate the collection and mobilization of financial assistance for the management of flood-affected people.
