RAN Mobilizes Drone Pilots for Bhotekoshi Flood Search and Rescue

Kathmandu. The Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN) has called on drone pilots, operators and technical volunteers to join search, rescue and relief efforts following the devastating Bhotekoshi flood on Wednesday.

The sudden flood caused significant loss of life and left hundreds of people missing. It also damaged around 40 kilometers of roads, several bridges and hydropower projects, while disrupting communication services in affected areas.
