Former PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and 5 Other Leaders Travel to Sri Lanka

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ along with 6 other leaders have gone to Sri Lanka. CPN leaders Balram Baskota, Baldev Chaudhary, Dama Sharma, Madhav Pant, and Ganga Dahal have also gone to Sri Lanka with Prachanda.

Prachanda and his team have departed for Sri Lanka to participate in a program organized by the International Peoples Assembly, an international network of Communist, Socialist, Progressive, and Leftist forces, to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from July 16 to 18, 2026.
