Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Potential for Heavy Rainfall

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. The monsoon low-pressure line is currently slightly above its average position in the west, near the Terai region of Nepal, and around its average position in the east.

Due to this, there is generally cloudy weather across the country. Light to moderate rain is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and in one or two places in Madhesh, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
