Violent Dhrube elephant released installing radio collar

Chitwan, July 16

The Chitwan National Park has installed a radio collar on Dhrube, a violent elephant which is believed to have killed 25 people in the national park and buffer zone, using a dart gun last night. Then, the elephant was released in the national park area. Information Officer of the Chitwan National Park, Abinash Thapa Magar, said that the radio collar is fixed to monitor the violent elephant.
