Judicial Council Recommends Transfer of 207 Judges, Appoints Special Court Chairs

Kathmandu. The Judicial Council has recommended the transfer of 50 judges of the High Court and 157 judges of the District Court. The council's meeting held on Thursday decided to recommend to the government for appointing chairpersons and law members to the Special Court, Labour Court, and Revenue Tribunals along with the transfer of judges.

The Judicial Council has recommended Justice Basudev Acharya of the High Court Tulsipur for the post of Chairperson of the Special Court Kathmandu.
