Former Minister Bishnu Poudel's Habeas Corpus Writ: Supreme Court Issues Show Cause Order

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has issued a show cause order on the habeas corpus writ of former minister Bishnu Poudel. Supreme Court Justice Shrikant Poudel, hearing the habeas corpus writ, issued the show cause order.

Poudel was arrested from Surkhet on Ashad 8. Poudel is being investigated by the Department of Anti-Corruption and Money Laundering for allegedly misusing his position to facilitate businessman Deepak Bhatta in share purchase.
