Weather Forecast: Widespread Rain Expected Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon trough is affecting the entire country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated. Currently, the monsoon low-pressure line is slightly above the average position in the west, around the Terai region of Nepal, and around the average position in the east.

Due to this, there is generally cloudy weather across the country. Moderate rain is occurring in some places in the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces until midday.
